Freddie Roach believes that his fighter Manny Pacquiao will stop Ricky Hatton in the ninth round on May 2.
The world's number one pound-for-pound fighter is scheduled to face 'The Hitman' in Las Vegas and Roach believes his fighter will wear down Hatton and score a knock-out victory.
"Ricky is a tough guy. He's durable but I think we will get him in the later rounds," he told The Sun.
"Will it be the ninth round? Yeah, that's my favourite number."
Pacquiao, of the Philippines, is taking some time off from training after his domination of Oscar De La Hoya on December 6.
However, Roach already has a detailed training programme drawn up to prepare the multi-weight world champion for Hatton.
He added: "The first day of March will be our first day at the gym. We talked about it earlier and I think eight weeks will be good for us.
"He should be out running daily by February so we won't have to start from scratch once we get to the gym."
