Manny to go down in 6 rounds–Beard

MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao will go down in six rounds.

That’s the bold prediction told by Lee Beard, one of the trainers of Ricky Hatton, to Telegraph Sport on Saturday.

According to Beard, Hatton will exploit Pacquiao’s defensive frailties when they clash at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2.

“Manny makes some massive errors and he is very repetitive in some of his movements and with certain punches and the way he throws them,” said Beard. “I think that Ricky will stop Manny within six rounds.”
