A Message To Hatton: Pacquiao Bloodies And Knocks Down Sparring Partner
Ricky Hatton must be trembling in fear. I don't think he expected this kind of determination and ferocity from his would-be opponent.
He will really be facing a "devil" from the Philippines this coming May 2.
That picture above is how the face of Art Hovhannesyan looked after he sparred with Manny Pacquiao.
It's only the first day of sparring and yet the Pacman has already unleashed his fury on his sparring partner.
He knocked him down and gave him a cut which caused the sparring session to be immediately stopped. This is a sign of how serious Manny is taking his fight with Hatton.
A lot of people are saying that this sparring partner is just a "bum" and so it was easy for Manny to knock him down. Think again guys.
With the head gear and the heavy gloves, I'm telling you it's damn difficult to cut your opponent and knock him down, even if he is a bum.
This is based on a personal experience of mine.
I sparred with a professional boxer for four rounds and he wasn't able to knock me down, even if he was way above my level. He wasn't even able to cut me. This was because the heavy gloves drastically slowed down his punches and the head gear cushioned the impact.
If Manny was able to do what he just did, then clearly his speed and power is beyond compare.
Imagine what would happen to Hatton if gets hit by a Pacman punch? Considering he won't have any head gear on and Pacquiao will be using much lighter gloves, I guess you all know what I'm talking about.
You better train harder Ricky Hatton. You're about to face an ultimate fighting machine who will not back pedal like Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Manny will hit you. Manny will hurt you. Manny will try to knock you out.
